I don’t wanna

This week I have NOT been in the mood to run. It all started Monday when I was supposed to run my long run – which this week is only 4 miles. I was a little tired and dehydrated from Sunday. Wine tasting with your friend can be exhausting (but sooo fun!!)





Instead I ran on Tuesday. I really didn’t want to but I made myself. As you can see it was not a very good run, also, it was the first hot day I’ve run this year. Not used to the heat yet!

Again, on Wednesday I did not feel like running. Thanks to my boyfriend, though, I did. He came to the park with me and told me I had to run & I’d regret it if I didn’t. I love him 🙂 This run wasn’t bad, each lap was under 9 minutes per mile! Yay me!!


Now, Friday afternoon, about to go to bed for my overnight shift I am sick. I want so badly to be able to go to boot camp on Sunday and run the 9 miles I am supposed to run on Monday. Funny how things go. Hopefully I will get over this sickness soon! Something that did pick up my spirits is what I found going through my photos on my camera. How could I forget to post this?? These pictures are from my Run Rocklin 12k race a did a few weeks back. Look how happy I am 🙂 Also, check out my stats!! Yes, it is a small race, but I think I did pretty good. 6th in my age group! I don’t care if there were only 20 people, I’ll take it!
