Great run today…and it was 91 degrees out! Unless it is 105+ degrees out I don’t think it is too hot to run. But that’s just me.
Now, I know I’ve said this many times but I am going to say it again: I am SO proud of myself for sticking to my CIM Training Schedule. I have not missed 1 day! There are a few days I’ve had to change up what I am doing but I’ve never missed a day of exercise. I have missed some rest days – which I know can be just as bad as missing training days. Sometimes I get a little obsessed with training. I have had a bit of knee pain lately so I am taking it easy and sticking to my rest days. I don’t want the same issues as last year.
I finally purchased some weights!!! $150 for all this on craigslist. Damn good deal. I feel like it is going to help so much with my training! I haven’t had a gym membership now for about 2 1/2 months. I have to say I am doing pretty damn good at maintaining my exercise routine, gaining muscle and losing weight all without a gym. I love being my own personal trainer! Speaking of personal training…I’m off to study. Happy running!
